The first major workshop was organised by the Pratishthan at Jaipur in association with the Rajasthan University. As it was felf that the papers presented at this workshop as also the discussion that followed would be of interest to larger sections of teachers, students and general public it was decided to bring out a publlication containing useful material duly edited by Dr. H.C. Khare Chairman of the expert group constituted by the Pratishthan. It is hoped that this publication will provide stimulation for further research.
