Tripura Sundari (Sanskrit: त्रिपुरा सुन्दरी, IAST: Tripura Sundarī), or Lalita Maha Tripura Sundari is a Hindu goddess and one of the ten Mahavidyas or Shivasakthi.[2] She is the Shakti/associate of Sadasiva, the Prakriti to his Purusha. Lalita shows as Goddess Sati, Goddess Parvati, Goddess Durga, Goddess Mahakali and every one of their manifestations, as exhibited in Shakta writing. Lalita Tripura Sundari Devi is viewed as the most intense manifestation of Adi Parashakti or essentially Her saguna roopa. She, alongside Sadasiva is liable for the Pancha-Krityas – Sristi or creation, Sthithi or assurance, Samhara or obliteration, Thirodhana or disguise of the world in Maya and Anugraha or last freedom . She is most popular as the Devi celebrated in the Lalita Sahasranama and as the subject of the Lalitopakhyanam (story of the goddess Lalita) in Hinduism.
